These rules apply to every application to Ascend 100.
Applications open on 10 November 2026 and close on 15 March 2027.
Each company may submit one application.
An application is confirmed for review only once the CAD 99 application fee has been paid. The fee is non refundable.
All information in an application must be accurate.
By applying, you agree that Ascend Tech may showcase your company, including its name, logo, description and product images, on its website and services.
Our selection team reviews every confirmed application against the published eligibility requirements and selection criteria.
100 finalists and up to 20 reserves are selected. Results are sent on 23 March 2027.
We are unable to provide individual feedback on applications.
Accept your place by the deadline in your result email. After this date, your place may be offered to a startup on the reserve list.
Two founders or senior executives attend all three days and keep your stand staffed during Innovation Hall hours.
Pitch at your scheduled time, and supply your deck, video and profile by the content deadlines.
Accept the code of conduct and media consent.
A no show without good reason forfeits the place and repays booked travel costs.
If a place becomes available, it is offered to the next startup on the reserve list. Places can become available up to four weeks before the event.
Finalists obtain their own visas, supported by our letter of invitation. Visa fees are not covered by the finalist package.
Awards are open to finalists only. A startup can win one competition title and one special award at most.
