These terms apply when you use ascendtech.ca, including accounts, the application portal and the Founder Hub. By using the site, you agree to them. AscendTech Startup Conference is organised by Ascend Leadership. Our address is AscendTech, 77 King Street West, PO Box 1155, Toronto Dominion Centre, Toronto, ON, M5K 1P2.

We log you in with a code or link sent to your email, so please keep access to your email secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and the information you give us must be accurate.
You agree not to:
Break the law or infringe the rights of others
Upload anything harmful, misleading or offensive
Try to access accounts or data that are not yours
Interfere with the security or operation of the site
Copy or collect content or data from the site by automated means
Send spam or unsolicited promotions through the site
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
You keep ownership of what you submit. You allow us to host and use it as needed to run AscendTech, including as described in our Application Terms.
Founder Hub members are responsible for what they post, and we may remove anything that breaks these terms or our Code of Conduct.
The site, its design and its content belong to us or to those who have licensed them to us. "Ascend" is a registered trademark of Ascend Inc. You may not use our names, logos or content without our written permission.
We work to keep the site accurate, but dates, venues, speakers, programme details and prizes may change.
The site is provided as it is, and we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, business or opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot legally be limited.
Investment discussions at or through AscendTech are between the parties involved. We do not give investment advice or endorse any startup or investor.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Ontario.
