Our selection team reviews every confirmed application against these criteria.
Our team first checks that each application is complete and meets the eligibility requirements. Every eligible, confirmed application is then reviewed against the criteria above, and 100 finalists and up to 20 reserves are selected. A spread of regions is used only as a tie breaker.
Finalists pitch in Toronto to on site judging panels, one for each track, followed by a Grand Final jury on the main stage.
